Which Shop do you work in and since when do you work there?
I work in the Precision Shop, also known as the tool store. I have been working for RAS since 2006. The Precision Shop opened in 2014.
What are your daily tasks?
We solve problems on the aircraft or build tools that solve these problems. We repair and prepare aircraft parts. If necessary, we also produce special aircraft parts according to the instructions of the manufacturer. All repairing, preparing and producing is done by turning, milling, drilling and welding.
What makes the Precision Shop special? Why is this Shop important for the overall picture?
We look for solutions to problems by creating tools that our colleagues can use immediately to repair the aircraft. This enables our colleagues to successfully complete their jobs.
