Project Manager Aviation (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Project Manager Aviation (m/f/d) for immediate employment at our location in Saarbrücken in the Regional Aviation division.

What Sets You Apart

  • Completed vocational training in a technical profession or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance is an advantage
  • Several years of experience in project planning as well as in personnel management
  • Very good German and English skills both spoken and written, as well as proficiency in MS Office

Your Main Tasks

  • Plan and oversee aircraft maintenance projects to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Manage costs and financial reporting by tracking project expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and negotiating contracts with stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to delays, technical findings, and supply chain challenges to ensure efficient maintenance execution
  • Drive process improvements by analyzing performance data, implementing best practices, and enhancing operational efficiency

We Expect

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, regulatory compliance, and airworthiness requirements
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance projects while managing airline operators efficiency
  • Experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and optimizing maintenance spending while ensuring operational efficiency
  • Strong analytical skills to address maintenance challenges, minimize downtime, and improve turnaround time
  • Proficiency with MRO software(AMOS, TRAX), data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies(Lean, Six Sigma)
