Certifying Staff CAT B1 or B1/C (m/w/d) – Business Aviation

For the Business Aviation department at our headquarters in Mönchengladbach we are looking for a Certifying Staff CAT B1 or B1/C (m/f/d).

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed training as an aircraft mechanic or similar technical qualification
  • Possession of a Part 66 CAT B1 or B1/C license
  • Type rating(s) for ATR42/72 series or DHC-8-400 series are preferred
  • Expertise in interpreting maintenance manuals and parts catalogs
  • Proven experience in leading and managing project teams
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and excellent communication skills

Job Description

  • Take responsibility for projects, including the release of line and base maintenance, modifications, and repairs
  • Coordinate and lead teams and projects efficiently
  • Manage and oversee all work-related documentation
  • Engage in cross-project planning of our slope layout
  • Maintain a close exchange of information with work preparation teams and customers

We Expect

  • Strong knowledge of aviation legislation, particularly (EU) No. 1321/2014 Part 145 and Part M
  • High sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Proficient in both written and spoken German and English
  • Demonstration of commitment, flexibility, and stress tolerance
  • Willingness to work shifts and travel within Germany and abroad
  • Independent, meticulous, and quality-focused work ethic
  • Keen awareness of the dynamic field of regional aviation
  • Must meet the requirements for a positive ZÜP according to §7 LuftSiG
